Blackburn Rovers Community Trust host a number of fantastic football sessions designed for children of all ages.
Our Saturday football sessions, hosted in the Indoor Centre at Ewood Park, begin at 9.15am with 'First Touch' and 'Mini Whites' until 10am. 'First Touch' is for two to three-year-olds, designed to improve fundamental movement skills and develop balance and coordination.
'Mini Whites' is for four to five-year-olds, to help develop basic movement and football skills. From 10am to 11am, 'Mini Blues' and 'Roverettes' begin.
'Mini Blues' is a football session for children aged six to 11, to give all participants a thorough understanding of playing the game. Meanwhile, 'Roverettes' is two football sessions for girls aged between six and 12, divided into two age groups.
We also host a coaching session in the Indoor Centre on Saturday mornings from 9am-10am for children wanting to be goalkeepers. The age range for this session is aged between seven to 11.
